| Born in 1969, Ricky Dearman was raised in a mining family in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. After living through the big strike in the 80′s, Ricky followed the family tradition and descended into the mines at the age of eighteen. Three years later, Ricky decided life working a mile underground had to cease, knowing that life had far more to offer. Without education, Ricky Dearman moved to London, and so his journey began. Ricky spent the next several years travelling around the world while having a base in London, experiencing life’s different cultures, religions and societies. Training as an actor in London is where Ricky was honoured and blessed to have Stefan Gryff as his coach where 2 years were spent with Stefan’s sharp eye and knowledge studying Stamslavski on film. This was followed by the supervision of Scott Williams for a further 3 years in Meisner. Scott Williams, who now runs ‘The Impulse Company’ in London, trained with Sandy Meisner himself. |
